About the Artist

Amarnath Viswana “NATH”
The ability to create an unforgettable impression of a natural landscape by experimenting with colors is a present a painter can give the viewers. Although all landscapes are there, the paintings encourage viewers to develop their imagination and thoughts. Most of my paintings are blue-colored acrylic, which is compensated with bright color mixes, and the aim is to bring back some unforgettable memories presented by nature.
Amarnath Viswanath is a German resident born in India on June 20th, 1941. After graduating with a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta, India, Amarnath started his ceramic career working as a trainee in a ceramic insulator company in Germany. In 1968 he completed his studies at the Ceramic College in Germany with a degree in Ceramic Engineering.
Amarnath uses almost exclusively acrylic colors for his paintings. Although he started his painting with abstract images, he tends more and more towards landscape paintings. Most of the landscape images are a remembrance of his time spent in the USA. Amarnath’s favorite color is blue, as seen in most of his paintings. He has exhibited in group exhibitions, including the International Artist’s Organization’s IN3ArtWorldWide “exhibition in Tuscany, Italy. One of his paintings is now at the Aspen Art Gallery, Aspen, to donate to Denver’s boys and girls Scout.
