The guest star for our Fashion & Art Issue is celebrity stylist Irma Martinez.
She has dedicated over twenty five years of her life to this branch of the fashion industry and is considered to be one of the top 25 most influential women in the Hispanic community, according to People En Español. Martinez’s story goes back to a time when being a fashion stylist was not yet acknowledged as a career path, which is why she is now highly recognized as a pioneer in her field.
Throughout her career, Martinez has collaborated with many influential Latino figures and showbiz celebrities like Shakira, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, among many others. She has also worked with international brands, taking part in campaigns such as Target’s “Dream in Color,” “Make a Move Power,” by Procter & Gamble, “Got Milk,” and “Orgullosa.”
Martinez has also been chosen as a spokesperson for Target, P&G’s “Try it, Love It” campaign, luxury brand Birks & Mayors, Transitions Lenses, and Head & Shoulders. Her creative, unique blend of innovative contemporary and retro styles has led to a significant following on social media.
