Collier’s watercolor, ink, and mixed media pieces showcase an aptness that gives her works an undeniable edge, her penchant for animals, both domestic and wild, is seen in her visual reproductions. There’s an abstract quality about her sculptures, dancing between representational and conceptual art. Collier’s sculpting technique is refined and technical while sticking to her stylized elemental concepts. Dedicated to discovering different aspects of our natural world, she invites her audience into a personalized experience with each discovery she has in wildlife.

“I live in a city of 150,000 people, North West of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Living on the outskirts of Ballarat, I’m not far from the bush and pastoral land. It is this closeness to nature that has given me a long life love of plant, bird, animal, insects, and land formations. As a former runner and bike rider, I would regularly spend time in the countryside. ” –Betty Collier
