Caren Akers
Up close and personal, Caren Akers works span a broad range of styles and themes. As an abstract expressionist, Akers’ paintings are shrouded in a variety of colors, ebullient forms, and patterns, capturing the vitality of living organisms. Her tactful choice of color and stroke method combine seamlessly to enhances this trance-like effect combined with a technique that is seemingly dictated by whim as she shifts from one style to another in her works.
