About the Artist
Master painter and sculptor Daniel Randolph is primarily a self-taught master artist who made a name for himself doing whimsical landscape and cityscape travel posters of major European and American scenes. Randolph has traveled all over the world creating a variety of art pieces but staying close to his popular travel posters. Randolph, now residing in California, sees just as much colorful fun in So Cal as he does in the street scenes of Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York City. He has lived and worked in Southern California for many years. It’s a color, charming character, natural beauty, and history that has become his way of life and as well as a primary subject matter of his artwork.
As a master artist for decades, Randolph has showcased his powerful collection of abstract art based on his interpretation of natural elements and the female form, abstraction leads to his overall vision of creative fun. Randolph has illustrated two books, “Joy of Birding” and “Trails of California.”
Randolph works from his studio and in the “plein aire” tradition while continuing to put a playful and whimsical spin on local scenes and characters.
