Edward J. Moret

Edward J. Moret encompasses his relationship with nature through large scale hyper-realistic figurative works. Moret champions for the cause of a healthy ecosystem, wherein all living organisms live in harmony with their surroundings. His themes burst with poetic symbolism while engaging his audience’s senses with vibrant tones, spacial elements, and soft surfaces. Rooted in the West Indies, Moret’s direct interactions with wildlife and exotic ecosystems have inspired a successful career through his clear vision and contribution to the arts.

“My strong interest in world travel and my love for the environment compelled me to paint the story of climate change and its direct impact on our civilization. My artwork centers on environmental themes such as global warming and endangered species. My travels to Peru, Iceland, India, Nepal and to the Amazon jungle have granted me a firsthand look at the melting glaciers and deforestation, which has served to underscore the importance of my work.” – Edward J.
