WAS THERE A PIVOTAL MOMENT WHEN YOU DECIDED TO FOLLOW YOUR PATH AS AN ARTIST?
“Even as a child, drawing was my passion, but it was neglected due to work and family. Twenty-five years ago, my sister gave me a painting course; painting has never let me go since then. I have devoted myself exclusively to painting in the last ten years and have been awarded many international prizes.”
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK FOR US?
“Expressive colors are an essential part of my work. I aim to highlight this world’s beauty through colors, shapes, and imaginative shapes. I combine and experiment with different techniques and am always looking for new horizons of expression.”
WHAT DOES YOUR WORK AIM TO SAY?
“Enjoy the colors and lightness of being; everything is transient, so something new can arise.”

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR WORK FITS WITHIN SOCIETY IN OUR PRESENT TIMES?
“It is not necessary to me whether my works fit into contemporary society. Pictures magically transform the rooms; that has been the case in the past and will not change in the present or the future.”
WHEN LOOKING BACK, WHAT ARTWORKS COME TO MINDA THAT MOST RELATE TO YOUR LIFE STORY?
“My works reflect my inner being, a world full of color and creativity without constraints.”

“Nature with its bizarre shapes and colors. Frida Kahlo is an admirable woman.”

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
“Only when I have applied layer by layer do I begin to work out the shapes and forms that I recognize until something whole is created. Then, colors, shapes, and styles combine to create a scenario.”
WHAT VISUAL REFERENCES DO YOU DRAW UPON IN YOUR WORK?
“I am inspired by every day as well as the extraordinary.”
ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS?
“I will continue to participate in charitable events. In addition, I am currently working on a large painting for my next exhibition.”
