When Jani Viswanath is not busy sponsoring Medical Camps & Medical Students in Kenya or supporting drought struck farmers in the remote villages of North India, she spends her time recreating emotions and landscapes in brilliant abstract works. Her primary medium is oils with palette knives & blades although she does occasionally dabble in acrylic and watercolors. Her pieces range from natural landscapes to abstract expressionism that portrays emotions in strikingly clear colors. She uses various techniques in her paintings including seamless gradient blending for her backgrounds and color scrumbling for the most dominant elements. Viswanath is a master of color, skillfully using the right blend of primaries, secondaries and tertiaries to create masterpieces that stir emotion and provoke thought.
