About the Artist
Master artist and professional sculptor, Lisa Azzano, specializes in figurative sculpture, working mainly in white clay and porcelain to create her uniquely detailed sculptures. With over 25 years experience in the fine arts and the healing arts, Lisa combines these two art forms to create healing art pieces which often center on the female figure and frequently with wings such as guardians, angels, fairies, goddesses that are specifically created for individuals, homes, groups and certain locations worldwide.
Her subject’s gauzy dresses and innate feminine grace are fully embodied in her sculptures. They are still not figures of the past, present, or future, but rather what one might call the physical expression of traditional archetypes.
Angel of Awakening
Lisa’s specialty, however, is in the creation of intuitively sculpted or painted guardian portraits which are imbued with angelic energy and healing crystals and can also be created in the likeness of a loved one.
Born in Ontario, Canada, and today residing in British Columbia, Azzano has lived and traveled widely across Europe and the East, collecting inspiration, and has just returned from living and studying art in Florence, Italy. Her sculptures and paintings are in private collections worldwide. She continues to sculpt and to learn while sharing through teaching the joy of creating with others.
