About the Artist

Liv Babra
Originally from Kenya, and now residing in Canada, Sculptor, Educator, Environmentalist, and Founder of Studio Liv, Liv Babra displays an elegant result of large scale wood and abstract stone sculptures that reference the environment and philosophical concepts. Often showing the different grains and transition of wood, coupled with soft curves and geometric shapes, his work shows a noticeable relationship between biological factors and metaphysical geometry.

The Punjabi sculptor draws his inspiration from his childhood memories made in the grand foothills of Kilimanjaro and his professional exposure to the fine art of African carvings. Dedicating his life to feeding his creativity and those of his students, his creative thinking courses encourage risk and mental clarity for supreme creative endeavors.
