About the Artist
Maya Vinokurov, creates works permeated with life and purpose, representing what she describes as a ‘harmony between nature and life’.
“Over the past five years, I have been studying and practicing the art and science of Mandala and the Fibonacci code. I feel beauty, love, and completeness in these creations of resonance. It is an expression of life in the universe through geometry, math, and color. Here I highlight 4 of the paintings I have drawn.
All of the Mandala’s Chakras are created on my interpretations of the knowledge and calculations attributed to Chakras.
The first chakra – Muladhara (The Root) is the basis and energy of life. It is the instinct of self-preservation and security. It is like a grain that grows from the ground.
The third chakra – Manipura (Solar Plexus) is the internal power. It is responsible for the immune system.
The fourth chakra – Anahata (Heart) is the most important chakra for a human. It is the energy center of love. It is the basis of all healing, harmony, and balance.
The seventh chakra – Sahasrara (Crown) is a comprehensive electromagnetic center. It is the manifestation of the spiritual in the physical body. It represents the choices and decisions that people make in life.
Art has always been a place of restoration and creativity for me. Combining this passion for art and the strength and impact of Mandala’s has been an incredible journey. I hope it brings similar joy and wonders to you.”-
