The most extensive collection of Bob Ross’s paintings to ever have been exhibited collectively, have brought great joy to Ross fans. On display at the Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville, Virginia, until Oct. 15. Just an hour outside of DC, the Loudoun County public arts center is presenting 24 original Ross works created during his time on “The Joy of Painting.”
Although a small selection of the permed painter’s work is on show in his permanent gallery in Florida and at least two exhibitions have included a few Ross pieces, no gallery on the East Coast has ever fully dedicated to Ross’ unique works.
“Bob’s paintings haven’t been on display that often,” Sarah Strohl, executive assistant at Bob Ross Inc. says. “This will be the largest opportunity to come to see them.”
With all that is happening environmentally and socially across the globe, people are seeking practices that ignite inner peace. Considered to be relaxing and meditative episodes his work is honored, and ‘Bob Ross’ classes are being conducted for 75.00 a course while the exhibition is open.
