Stéphane Cauchefer, known in the years 1990/2010 for his illustrations in the major French women’s magazines, has devoted himself to painting for 10 years. A dialogue with raw material, a figurative abstraction full of depth, to express an almost carnal sensuality of the human.
The line, solid, structure, and framework solidly these faces come out of nothingness like moaïs (sculptures of Easter Island). They impose themselves on them for eternity. The strength is there. It invades you without your knowledge. Impossible to remain insensitive!
