On the eve of the fourth anniversary, ArtTour International Magazine organized a spectacular award ceremony, the ATIM Masters Award, to celebrate both upcoming and mature talents of the industry. A numbers of awards were given to artists from different genres. The high-energy show was a clear hit.
No better place could have hosted this year’s ATIM Masters Award ceremony than the magnificent Castello Estense in Ferrara. Enclosed in the spectacular walls of one of the most incredible monumental beauties of the Italian tourist itinerary, the 2015 ATIM Masters Award was one of the most expected events of this year. It took place on August 23, halfway through the “Rise” international exhibition organized by ArtTour International Magazine and Vivid Arts Network, which ran from August 22 to August 29. Viviana Puello, editor-in-chief of ArtTour International Magazine, personally presented the ATIM Masters Awards to selected artists to honor their achievements, celebrate the excellence of their work, and recognize their contributions to the arts. Nothing could make these marvels of modern art stand out more than the beautiful Renaissance atmosphere of the Castello Estense, an incredible castle built by Bartolino da Novara in 1385.
The award recipients were chosen from ATIM’s Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Art, a yearly publication that features 60 incredible artists and highlights the best of the best in the contemporary art world. The publication is curated by the internationally acclaimed art personality Viviana Puello, founder and editor-in-chief of ArtTour International Magazine, and graphic direction is provided by recognized video producer Alan Grimandi, director of ATIMTV.COM, the well- known web TV channel of ArtTour International. It spotlights top talents from a vast array of artistic forms. The top 60 artists each year receive a master’s certificate, and the top five artists receive the ATIM’s Masters Award. In addition, the artists’ works are featured in the magazine and several other projects. People can also watch interviews with the artists on ATIMTV.COM.
The recipients of the ATIM Masters Awards received reproductions of a beautiful sculpture created by Puello. The elegant, stunning sculpture is entitled “Alzando el Vuelo” (Taking Off). It is a 25-cm angel-like figure with magnificent open wings and extended arms. A famous Italian porcelain company located in Nove, Italy created the reproductions in porcelain which were then plated with 24-carat gold. This unique, spectacular sculpture embodies everything ATIM stands for.
Puello stated, “The sculpture represents the moment when you decide to open your wings and fly, which is a moment of liberation. My message to the artists is to stay inspired, keep dreaming, and never give up. We are divine creatures, capable of much more than we give ourselves credit for. I hope ‘Alzando el Vuelo’ can bring that message closer to their hearts.”
The ATIM Masters Award winners are a diverse group of artists chosen for their immense, unprecedented contributions to fine arts.
