About the Artist
American-born Clarissa Burt has graced the world stage for more than 35 years as a supermodel, actress, and news anchor. Along the way, she had two private audiences with Pope John Paul II to discuss her social work, became the first American to do a TV report from the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and served as the Ambassador to the United States for the Walking Africa Campaign, which led to the collective awarding of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize to all African women.
Now, Burt has turned her attention towards entrepreneurship as the founder and creative force behind the multi-media platform “In the Limelight.” Inspired by women entrepreneurs such as Martha Stewart and Oprah, the platform was created to help struggling entrepreneurs maintain the presence and relevance of their brands in front of prospects and clients.
Taking its name both as a reflection of her past in media and communications, as well as an aspiration for her clients, “In the Limelight” encompasses videos, a podcast, a quarterly digital lifestyle magazine, and a dedicated TV channel.
In addition to expanding this channel with new shows, Burt is currently anticipating the November 2021 publication of her new book, “The Self-Esteem Regime,” which she hopes will kick off a global movement of esteemed beings.
She also continues to work towards developing a global multi-media network for women to help them find their passion and never look back. In short, she strives for her network to be able to reach women with her all-important message: “Do it! Learn it! Find your passion and never look back because you’re not going that way!” She hopes to do so by entertaining, educating, and empowering them to reach the great successes that they deserve.
She can be reached @clarissaburt on almost every social media platform. Her website, clarissaburt.com, offers shows, podcasts, magazines, the Clarissa Travel Club, news desk items, and a cookbook that she co-authored.
In the Limelight Magazine is digitally published each quarter, while In the Limelight TV shows can be viewed on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, ROKU, Google Play, Sony, Tivo, DailyMotion, and many other platforms. In the Limelight podcasts can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Pandora, Amazon Music, Podbean, Stitcher, and Inspired News Radio.
