It is just so wonderful to connect with people through my work! “For me the painted word is my way of communication with the world. There is just so much beauty everywhere and as artists I feel it’s up to us to help people stop and really see it! ” After hundreds of paintings, monotypes, etchings, and pastels, my passion is still to capture the color of the light. It’ s something I continue to strive for to give the viewer a ‘snapshot’ of whatever I’m painting. I consider color, drama, and light to still be the hallmarks of my work.
