“Summer Wind” Oil by Dan Campbell.

Dan Campbell is an award-winning artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. After a successful career in marketing and business, Campbell decided to pursue his passion for art full-time. This decision came after losing a consulting contract at age 56 when he realized that creating art was the most fulfilling work he could do. His first painting was sold only a month later.

Since then, Campbell has been creating vibrant paintings with a wide range of subject matter, including figurative works, landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes. His works showcase his signature style, combining textured and palette knife techniques with soft brushwork. Campbell’s work has been displayed in several galleries throughout the US and can be found in private collections worldwide. Although influenced by the impressionists, specifically Edgar Degas, Paul Cezanne, and Henry Asencio, Campbell also draws inspiration from life, music, and nature. This inspiration is evident in his work, as it often conveys peace and vitality in its bold use of colors and textures.
