Janna Shulrufer is an artist whose work transcends the boundaries of traditional media. Through oil on canvas, watercolor, black and white drawings, etching, and dry-point techniques, Janna Shulrufer creates deeply meaningful work that reflects her unique perspective on life. With each piece she creates, Janna Shulrufer brings her understanding of the world to life, making her artwork a powerful expression.

Janna Shulrufer works with various media; she creates spontaneously and begins with a design idea, planning the composition and color scheme before starting work. As a result, her design can change during the creative process.

Janna’s approach to her art is one of openness and exploration. She does not stick to one medium or specific subject matter but instead follows her intuition and allows the process to take her where it will. This spontaneity gives her art a unique quality that speaks to the moment’s essence and conveys a sense of movement.

Janna uses traditional materials and methods as well as more modern approaches. She experiments with new techniques and textures, combining them in unique ways. Her art often includes elements of fantasy, dreamscapes, and expressionistic images that evoke emotion.

Janna Shulrufer is inspired by life around her. She finds inspiration from landscapes, people, and street scenes. Janna also draws from her experiences and emotions, using art to express herself and reflect on the world. As a result, her artworks often contain strong emotions and themes that combine elements of the real and the imaginary. By constantly pushing her creativity and boundaries, Janna strives to create memorable and powerful pieces.

Janna chooses her medium based on the emotion she wants to convey, and her work is often inspired by the things around her. When it comes to oil paintings, she paints directly on the canvas using a variety of colors. Watercolor is another medium she often uses, as she likes how the colors mix to create beautiful compositions. In addition, black and white drawings are a staple of her work, as they evoke a certain mood in the viewer.

Etching and dry-point are techniques that she also utilizes in her artwork. Etching involves applying acid to metal plates to create a relief image, while dry-point involves drawing onto a plate with a sharp point. Both of these techniques are used by Janna to create beautiful and intricate pieces of art.
