Michael Phillips doesn’t restrict himself to painting one subject matter. To him, the idea behind the painting is the most important thing. He draws inspiration from his life experiences, memories, and sometimes even words.

His work conveys the idea that we are all connected by our experiences and can learn from each other. As a result, his paintings resonate with people on a deeper level than just visual beauty. This sentiment is evident in many of his figurative works that tell stories through color and texture. His passion for art and storytelling shows in every piece he creates, making connecting with his work easy.

Phillips’ work is spiritual, although it is not in a religious way. He believes that his art is an extension of himself and conveys his beliefs, values, and hopes for the world. He uses figurative elements, bright colors, and complex patterns to capture the beauty of the unknown and invite viewers to explore their innermost thoughts.
