“Where Is The Sun” Acrylic And Spraypaint On Canvas by Petra Dippold-Goetz.

Petra Dippold-Goetz is an abstract painter from Germany passionate about creating art that celebrates the beauty of our world. Growing up in a city steeped in the history and influence of renowned artist Albrecht Dürer, Petra was always drawn to the beauty and power of color. She attended a private grammar school, with her parents’ support strengthening her artistic and socio-political interests. Whenever she had time, she painted still-lifes, fruit, and vessels, captivated by the liveliness and beauty of color.

In addition to her love of art, Petra has always connected deeply to nature. She often spends summertime outdoors, painting ‘en pleine air’ and honing her technique. To further hone her craft, she attended the Academy of Faber-Castell from 2014 to 2018. Throughout her studies, Petra drew inspiration from European museums, allowing her artwork to be influenced by ‘Informal Art’—particularly Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Antoni Tapies, Alberto Burri, Jackson Pollock, and Franz Kline. Her works combine a variety of mediums, including acrylic and oil paints, along with collages and assemblages.

Other times, she leaves everything to her intuition and emotions. She puts paint on the canvas and allows the work to develop naturally.
